I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and always had an interest in movies and television, but it wasn’t until my sophomore year in college when I decided to develop those interests into a career choice. I graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Broadcasting in May 2007 and started working for 9&10 News in February of 2008, as a full time Photojournalist.
In my time at 9&10 I have covered a wide range of stories. Everything from “Toddler Races” at the National Cherry Festival to court cases and political races. I was named 2010 Photojournalist of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters and have won a few other awards for stories I have worked on over the years.
When I’m not chasing people around with a camera, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family, being outdoors, movies, music, and photography.
I would like to thank my family for all of the support they have given me throughout the years, and 9&10 News for making me a part of an awesome news team.
