Gilchrist Farm Winery to host lecture on health benefits of spices

TRAVERSE CITY — Gilchrist Farm Winery will host a lecture focused on how kitchen spices support daily wellness at 6 p.m. April 30.

The event, titled “How Spices Enhance Flavor and Boost Health,” features a discussion led by co-owner Dr. Elizabeth Huntoon.

The presentation is part of a series examining the impact of everyday spices on health and well-being.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. at Gilchrist Farm Winery.

Chef Joshua Sisco will prepare small bites designed to highlight specific spices. These food pairings are included in the ticket price. A

A cash bar will also be available for guests to purchase wine, coffee, tea and other non-alcoholic options.

Tickets for the event are $25 per person. Attendance is limited to 32 guests. Wine club members receive early access and a 10% discount on ticket prices.
