Wellness for the Family: Learning more about beneficial exercise for heart health

According to a meta-analysis of 33 studies, those who engaged in 2.5 hours of moderate-intensity leisure activity per week had a 14% lower risk of coronary heart disease than those who didn’t exercise.

So we had Shanthi Appello from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan join us on ‘the four’ to share how exercise is beneficial for heart health and what is defined as light, moderate and vigorous intensity.
