Federal investigators are still trying to figure out what caused an Amtrak train to derail in Montana over the weekend.

Four of the five cars heading from Chicago to Seattle rolled over along a remote stretch in north central Montana.

141 passengers and 17 crew members were onboard. Of those people, three were killed and dozens were hurt.

The dead have been identified as a Georgia couple, Donald and Marjorie Varnadoe, traveling to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Zach Schneider of Illinois was also killed. He was travelling with his wife Rebecca, who was unhurt.

Investigators say the train was not going above the speed limit and the tracks had gone through a regular inspection just two days earlier.
