It’s going to be an exciting summer this year!

Interlochen Center for the Arts is offering a series of free classes: Art & Culture in the Garden, Learning in the Garden, and Chefs in the Garden. These will all be held outdoors in the R.B. Annis Botanical Lab on campus, directly in front of the Interlochen Public Radio building. The courses are running through the Month of June into August on Wednesdays.

Here is a breakdown of what each course will go over:

Art & Culture in the Garden: These will all be a nature-based artwork experience. Topics will include photography, poetry, and repurposed materials.

Learning in the Garden: In these courses you will have the opportunity to learn from various experts on topics in sustainability, such as gardening and soil health.

Chefs in the Garden: This will be the first season of cooking at the  brand new outdoor kitchen. You will utilize fresh vegetables from the garden, and learn from local chefs, nutritionists, and culinary experts!

All courses are free, but due to limited spots, you must register online.
