It’s summer, and there are plenty of fun things going out throughout Michigan that the entire family can enjoy.

Courtney Sheffer from the West Michigan Tourist Association has the details in this week’s What’s Happening in Northern Michigan.

Stroll the Streets in Boyne City

Boyne City invites you downtown to “Stroll the Streets” on Friday evenings this summer for live music, entertainment, children’s activities, and more. “Stroll the Streets” kicks off tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m., and runs every Friday through Labor Day. It’s a great chance to pop into some local shops and restaurants, or just enjoy the outdoor atmosphere downtown.

Wine Wagon on Old Mission Peninsula

For a unique wine tasting experience, you can visit Brys Estate on Old Mission Peninsula and take their “Wine Wagon” tour this summer! Their open-sided electric shuttle will take you to five unique locations through the estate, with wine tastings at each stop, PLUS a light picnic when you visit the Secret Garden. Wine Wagon tours are offered now through early September, and offer a great way to explore more of Brys Estate’s 111 acres.

Bike Night & Car Cruise-Ins at Boyne Mountain

Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls is bringing back their Bike Night & Car Cruise-Ins this summer on Tuesday nights! Bring your summer ride over to Boyne Mountain’s Clock Tower Lodge, which turns into a showplace filled with roadsters, hogs, and coupes. They’ll have food and drink specials going on for Bike Night, plus live music and weekly giveaways and raffles to benefit local charities.
