Thousands Take the Trek: 62nd Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk

The Mackinac Bridge will be closed all morning Monday for the 62nd Labor Day bridge walk.

The bridge closure starts at 6:30 a.m.

People walking across the bridge will begin crossing at 7 a.m.

The bridge will re-open to drivers around noon.

Northern Michigan’s News Leader has Monday’s Mackinac Bridge Walk covered from both sides of the bridge.

9&10’s Christine Kanerva is live on the south side of the bridge, and Xavier Hershovitz is on the St. Ignace side.
