MTM On The Road: Silent Auction at Farwell High School

Right now at Farwell High School is their spring silent auction featuring work from their woodshop program.

Students spend all year working on projects that people will bid on.

Students build everything from outdoor benches, tables, and chairs to cabinets that you could put in your kitchen or dining room.

Most of the wood used to build these auction projects comes from the woodshop class teacher Jeff Thompson’s sawmill.  For the past 10 years they cut and donate woods such as:  White Pine, Oak, Cherry, and Maple.

This year there is over 40 projects on display and all of the profits go directly back into the Woodshop program.

People can make bids by either calling the high school at

(989)-588-9913, or you can head into the school during school hours to look at all of the items!

Wake up with Regan Blissett and Stephanie Adkins as talk to students and see their impressive work!
