What’s Growing With Tom: Week 8

The garden is nice and green and is in good shape. But like last week, it’s still too early to harvest, though the lettuce isn’t far from being ready!

This week’s report is for hunters and those who love watching wildlife. We are focusing on how to make a food plot.

Now is the time to start getting your plot ready. I chose a spot away from our main building. Justin with says it’s a good spot, but we need to make sure the ground is right.

He says we need to make sure the soils pH is OK. We don’t have ferns, so we are in good shape, but the ground needs some help using Food Plot Doo.

It has Dairy Doo, humates and other ingredients that spread easily.

Over the next few weeks, we will rototill this into the ground and break up the soil so we can plant our seed.

This will take some time to get growing, but it should be ready for the fall!
