Calendar Campaign Raises Money For Osceola Co. Animal Control

Pets at a local animal shelter are taking a stab at modeling!

They’re now the posterchildren of a calendar campaign for a good cause.

Photographer Jayne Richmond takes photos of the animals at the Osceola County Animal Control Shelter.

Over the last few years, she’s created a calendar with the images.

One hundred percent of the calendar sales will go back to the shelter to help the homeless pets.

“If we weren’t getting community support, then a lot of these dogs would not get the health care that they need,” said Animal Control Officer, Dave Bjarnesen. “We use those funds to pay for that health care. We’d have a lot of sick dogs that we wouldn’t be able to take care of without those funds.”
