Grant Me Hope: Alex

Each week we introduce you to children and teenagers who have one wish: to find a family who will love and care for them forever, through the gift of adoption.

This week in Grant Me Hope we meet a bright little boy named Alex.

Alex is 11 years old and says his favorite color is red.

He describes himself as funny, nice, kind, police and respectful.

When Alex grows up he wants to be a veterinarian. ‘

“I want to be a veterinarian, because I like animals. I would like to go to Michigan State University and study for vet school,” explains Alex.

He likes animals and arts and crafts.

“Adoption means to me, that someone comes and talks to you about things and then you go to their house, for like a family,” says Alex. “I think everyone needs a family.”

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange, Teddy’s Transport and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
