Normally this time of year people are out on the lakes with ice fishing gear in hand.
But right now the water is still moving, as anglers wait for it to freeze.
Many bait shops are stocked with wax worms, nets, ice scoops and minnows.
With this warm weather they’re lucky for die hard fisherman to keep their business going.
“It’s a little cold for us but we still have several regulars that they fish year round. You know they say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. We sell bait every day of the week even right now. Says Rob Hentschel, manager of Roys General Store
Hentschel says when the water finally freezes they’ll be ready for anyone who wants to go ice fishing.
