This year grouse hunters will have help from the DNR finding the best spot to ruffle some feathers.
The DNR is beginning it’s GEMS program, it stands for Grouse Enhanced Management System.
The program found on their website will show grouse hunters designated grouse hot spots across Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
These areas are groomed and ready for hunters of all levels.
