Michigan health officials are reporting 10,474 new COVID-19 cases and 78 deaths in the past week.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) says since April 13, the average number of cases per day is about 1,496.
Since the start of the pandemic, Michigan has had 2,411,464 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 35,935 confirmed deaths.
As of April 13, 5,699,021 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 6,666,599 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
