If you’re looking to volunteer and to start 2022 on a good note, the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan could use your help. They’re looking for volunteers to join their team of medicare assistance program certified counselors.
Volunteers will help older adults and disabled Medicare beneficiaries navigate healthcare insurance options.
They’ll go through some online training to help answer questions, act as a guide, respond to questions over the phone, and meet with people virtually. The application deadline is January 15.
