Traverse City philanthropist Kim Hagerty has died at the age of 64.
According to Hagerty Media, Kim was a “integral to the growth of Hagerty.”
They say during her time at the company, Hagerty served in many roles. She was a legal counsel, co-CEO and chairman of the board before she retired in 2014.
Hagerty also helped build her family’s classic car insurance business after establishing a successful law career.
She was an honorary board member on Northwestern Michigan College’s foundation and donated $1 million to the school with her husband.
