Morley Stanwood Athletic Director Clark Huntey will be inducted into Central Michigan University Athletics Hall of Fame on October 17th. Huntey is currently ranked third all-time in CMU Baseball annals in career homeruns; he is also second best in the program's history for the 23-homeruns he hit during the 1989 season.

“You think about the years.  The 4 years that I was at Central, and a lot of games that come back, and think of all of the guys that helped me.  The coaches and players that helped me get to that position. . . It was a big surprise.  It wasn't something that was expected," said Huntey.

He will be inducted with five other Chippewa athletic standouts, before being honored at CMU's home football game against Ball State.

Huntey's son Tyler is currently a member of the Chippewa team.
