UPDATE: April 6

The Antrim County Sheriff says it could take weeks to figure out the identities of two men found dead last week.

The bodies were found in a tent off West Doerr Road in Custer Township last Wednesday night.

The sheriff tells 9&10 News that it does not appear foul play was involved in the men's deaths.

They are unsure of the cause of death, but hope DNA will reveal who the two men were.

The Antrim County sheriff says the bodies of two men were discovered inside a tent.

The sheriff says bodies were found shortly before 8:00 PM Wednesday night by people out looking for deer antlers off West Doerr Road in Custer Township, near Mancelona.

Investigators believe they may have been there since fall of last year. There are no missing persons reports in the county from that time. There were no obvious signs of injury.

The sheriff tells 9&10 News they don't know the identities of the men right now.

Autopsies are scheduled for Friday in Grand Rapids.
