CMU Police Remind Students In Residence Halls To Lock Their Doors

Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant is reminding students to lock their doors.

This after 4 young women were assaulted early Sunday morning in Merrill Hall.

Police tell 9&10 News they believe a male student targeted a specific dorm room where 4 young women lived.

They say he was drunk early Sunday morning when he went into the room and sexually assaulted one of the women, and assaulted the others.

The suspect was arrested and will be formally charged with several crimes, including sexual assault, home invasion and assault and battery.
