Richfield police arrest one man and two women on drug and prostitution charges.

On Tuesday, August 13, Richfield police received a tip about a car traveling from Flint to Saint Helen with prostitutes.

Officers saw a car that matched the description and followed it.  After pulling into a driveway, the suspects briefly entered the house. A woman got into the driver's seat and continued. Police in an unmarked car noticed the suspect car was diving in the wrong lane.

A marked police car pulled up behind the vehicle which quickly turned into another driveway.  The officer passed by the driveway and the suspect vehicle pulled out.

The officer made a traffic stop on W. Airport near Brown Street.

The woman driver did not have a valid driver's license.  When the officer questioned the other occupants, they gave different stories.

Police used a K-9 unit to search around the car.  The K-9 indicated areas where officers then searched.  They found several heroin needles, a stolen 9 MM handgun, and cash.

The car and $2,400 were forfeited.

The man, Lawrence Person of Flint, was received 6 charges including delivery of drugs, carrying a concealed weapon, and transportation of prostitutes.

The female driver, Jessie Withrow of Flint, was give 4 charges including delivering drugs, operating with license suspended, and common prostitution.

The female passenger, Jasmine Jimenez of East Tawas, was charged with possession of controlled substances.
