Police say they've made a break in the Oakland County child killer case, linking the deaths of two of four children killed in the 1970's.

DNA tests fond hairs found during the investigation of the deaths of 11-year-old Timothy King and 12-year-old Mark Stebbins came from the same person, but they do not know who that person is.

Investigators said the hairs found during the investigation of the deaths of 11-year-old Timothy King and 12-year-old Mark Stebbins came from the same person.

Four young children were kidnapped and found dead between 1976 and 1977.

The hair samples mark the first evidence linking any of the children together.

The other two children that were killed were 10-year-old Kristine Mihelich and 12-year-old Jill Robinson.

Police are seeking tips from the public in the case.
