* Some Early Showers
* Sun & Cooler Weather Returns

**The Muskegon River near Croton in Newaygo county is under a Flood Advisory. More than 2" of rain has fallen with more expected this evening. This will likely cause the river to exceed bankfull and could come close to flood stage by tomorrow evening.
Steady rain is pushing north into parts of the U.P. as the L.P. has seen it most of the day. Tonight's forecast calls for the steady rain to change over to occasional showers and end in the U.P. with clearing by morning. Another inch of rain is possible before things weaken. Winds pick up to 8-18mph as dry, cool air pours into the region.
The Upper Peninsula clear out fast giving you a lot of sunshine for the day. The L.P. is a different story with some lingering showers for the morning as the clouds move out from NW to SE. This means if you live in Mt. Pleasant or Gladwin, skies will not get sunny until later in the day. While rain won't be a problem tomorrow, the winds will be with gusts out of the North/Northwest over 30 mph. Temperatures really plummet with highs in the 50's.
Frost Potential Thursday Night - With clear skies and light winds I do expect areas of frost by Friday morning. Lows will drop into the upper 20's to low 30's.
Friday looks cool but nice and sunny. In fact, the entire weekend should be really nice with a lot of sunshine and highs in the 60's and 70's. Patchy frost is also possible Friday - Saturday morning otherwise lows should stay above 32.
