The Otsego County Fire Department responded to a fire at A&L Iron around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
A large pole-type building was on fire.
The Otsego County Fire Department says it had to shuttle in nearly 230,000 gallons of water.
The fire was under control around 10 p.m., with crews on scene past midnight. Forty firefighters assisted in putting the fire out, and no injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
