Munson Workouts: Core Exercises

Helping beginners learn good habits is what Wellness Wednesday is all about.

Michelle joins exercise specialist Ben Watson at the Munson Healthy Weight Center to learn some exercises for a key area: the core.

Knees to elbows:

Seated with arms behind the head, bring knees and elbows together for 15 reps.

Do it standing to up the difficulty level and increase balance.

“This is a simple exercise you can do while you are watching T.V.,” Watson says.

Wall Glider:

Lean up against a wall and drop the hip towards the wall and slowly back out.

10 to 15 repetitions on each side.
