Leelanau County deputies are warning local businesses of fake cash being used in the county.
A bogus $100 bill showed up at businesses in Suttons Bay and Elmwood Township.
Deputies say someone tried paying with a fake bill at a gas station Wednesday.
The clerk noticed it was fake and notified deputies.
Deputies say the bogus bills look authentic but say "motion picture use only" on them.
The sheriff’s office is telling businesses to double check large bills.
