Teens Hurt After Homemade Pipe Bomb Explodes

Two Northern Michigan teens learned how to make a small bomb. Now they're in the hospital because of an accident that could have been avoided. The two teenagers are recovering from serious injuries after experimenting with these homemade explosives. State Police in Gladwin say they received the 911 call about the pipe bomb explosion Saturday afternoon in the Sage Township of Gladwin County. The boys were home alone at the time of the accident. Police aren't sure if the boys will face charges. Alex Jokich and photojournalist Tyler Hampton have more details after talking to police about the injuries and the damage.
