Snowmobilers Ride for Special Olympics

Snowmobilers on a traditional trip are riding to help some special athletes. The week-long 28th annual Wertz Warrior ride continued in Northern Michigan today. The fundraiser for the Special Olympics made pit stops in both St. Helen and Houghton Lake in Roscommon County on Monday. The Wertz Warriors have been raising money for the Special Olympics for almost 30 years. Over the years they've raised $7.5 million by gathering donations at the stops they make. The Special Olympics Michigan State Winter Games start Tuesday at the Grand Traverse Resort, in Traverse City. If you're interested in joining the Wertz Warriors, please click the link below.
