Goodwill Wants Your Unwanted Computers

Michigan Goodwill stores are working with Dell to collect computers and accessories to recycle. Goodwill has already collected around 35,000 pounds of old computers. Now workers are sorting through and separating parts into their recyclable categories. Computer parts cannot just be thrown away because they contain materials like lead. Most places charge to recycle your computer, but the service is free at Goodwill. It helps Goodwill raise money for programs, operations, and jobs. Unwanted computers and accessories can be dropped off at the donation drop-off at any Goodwill store.
