An opportunity to ice fish and benefit a local Cadillac organization this weekend through the Cash Bash Ice Fishing Tournament.
This is the seventh year for Cash Bash, an event that started out with just a group of friends and has expanded to nearly 200 ice fishers.
This year their profits will benefit the Cadillac Footliters, allowing them to buy a portable stage, a trailer and other equipment.
It’s $20 to get in and sign up ends up 8 a.m. on Saturday.
The event will run until around 4 p.m.
“I love ice fishing but to able to put this on for the community, give everybody something to do and get together in the winter with the weather the way it’s been,” said Kevin Baker, an organizer for the tournament.
Lunch will be provided and there will be many opportunities to win some prizes.
