Ferris State University’s Club Fishing Team has jumped head first into preparing for bass season.
The team hasn’t slowed down after coming off a successful ice fishing season.
They had two team members win the North American – Ice Fishing Circuit – College National Championship in February.
Now – the club fishing team’s adviser says they plan to continue learning new techniques.
To make their team more successful during bass season.
"Learning a lot about electronics luckily being a computer technician i understand a lot of it but there’s electronics involved with fishing that’s unreal so that kind of stuff," said Chuck Rathbun.
The team has their schedules set for the summer.
When some of the members start fishing in tournaments across the country.
