Highly Anticipated Battle Ends in a Glads Victory Over the Elks

TRAVERSE CITY – Traverse City St. Francis and Elk Rapids entered Friday night with only one loss on the season, but the Elks walked away with two as they fell to the Gladiators 43-26.

The Gladiators improve to 8-1 while the Elks stand at 7-2 after a game that started at a slower pace. The Gladiators only lead 16-12 by the half, but managed to make it a 13-point difference game heading into the third quarter.

TCSF’s Maggie Napont lead the night with 20 points and served up three from behind the arc.

Elk Rapids heads to Harbor Springs Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. and TCSF will continue their home stretch against Charlevoix on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m.
