MAPLE CITY – Luke Hazelton exploded for 40 points as his Glen Lake Lakers claimed an 89-43 win over Buckley on Wednesday.
Hazelton scored 13 of the Lakers’ 17 first quarter points and added another 18 in the second quarter as Glen Lake built a 47-24 lead at the half.
With the win, Glen Lake improves to 6-1 (3-0 Northwest Conference) on the season, while the loss drops Buckley to 3-6 (1-3 NWC).
The Lakers will travel to Suttons Bay on Friday night, while the Bears will host Onekama.
