BOYNE CITY - The Boyne City Ramblers raced out to a big lead early and held on late for a 50-44 win over Traverse City St. Francis on Tuesday night.
The Ramblers and Gladiators both came into the game unbeaten in Lake Michigan Conference play.
Gavin Hewitt led the way for the Ramblers with 15 points.

With the win, Boyne City improves to 11-1 (6-0 LMC). The Gladiators fall to 8-2 (4-1 LMC). Boyne City is home for Elk Rapids on Friday night at 7 p.m.
St. Francis travels to Harbor Springs on Friday night at 7 p.m.
