SAULT SAINTE MARIE – The Sault Ste. Marie Blue Devils saw their six-game win streak come to an end in heart-breaking fashion, falling to Marquette 64-62 in overtime on Friday night.
The Blue Devils’ loss was their first since a setback against Petoskey more than a month ago.
Sault Ste. Marie (7-3) goes on the road to matchup with Alpena on Tuesday night, while Marquette (6-5) will next be in action at the St. Ignace B.C. Pizza Classic next Friday, taking on Gaylord.
