Lake City Beats Gaylord in Annual ‘Christmas Game’

LAKE CITY – The Lake City Trojans earned a 52-34 victory over Gaylord in their annual ‘Christmas Game’ on Tuesday night.

The ‘Christmas Game’ included the coaches of both teams wearing Christmas sweaters on the sidelines, free admission to any person wearing Christmas attire, and the Lake City student section even put up a Christmas tree in the bleachers.

Cousins Alie and Mackenzie Bisballe led the way for Lake City, finishing with 21 and 18 points, respectively.

The win improves Lake City’s record to 6-1. Gaylord falls to 5-3 with the loss and will have a long layoff before its next game.

The Blue Devils don’t return to action until Jan. 4th at home against Boyne City at 7 p.m.

Lake City will play Zeeland West at Ferris State University on Thursday at 3 p.m.
