TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse City Pit Spitters announced the release of their 2023 schedule on Monday.
The Pit Spitters will start the new season at home on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th against Rockford.
Traverse City will play 36 home games this season, and will also host the Lakes Division All-Star Game on July 25th.
The regular season concludes on August 12th, with a home game vs. Rockford. The Northwoods League Playoffs run from August 13th through the 19th.
Last season the Pit Spitters won the Great Lakes East Division second half title with a 27-9 mark, earning a playoff berth, where they were eliminated by the Kalamazoo Growlers. Overall, the Pit Spitters finished with a 45-27 overall record.
