Gladwin Looks to Make History in the Final Four

GLADWIN – The Flying G’s won the regional championship for the first time since 1998, but they look to keep marking up the record books and win Gladwin’s first ever semifinal.

“This class has completely changed the culture,” said head coach Marc Jarstfer. ” I mean, there’s no one that that’s ever outworked them that I’ve seen.”

The team is currently ranked the No. 5 defense in Michigan high school football and is tied at No. 4 for the best offense. The Flying G’s will keep up that effort on Saturday afternoon.

“When you’re in the Final Four, it’s going to take a tremendous effort to get to Ford Field,” said Jarstfer.

The well-rounded group will take on Grand Rapids Catholic Central on Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.
