FRANKFORT – The Frankfort Panthers used a dominant run game and some stifling defense to defeat visiting Elk Rapids on Friday night, 36-14.
The win improves the Panthers to 8-1 on the season. Elk Rapids falls to 6-3.
Both teams will now await the announcement of who, when and where they will be playing in the postseason. Those pairings will be announced on Sunday.
