SAULT STE. MARIE – The Wolverines took the 5-1 win over the Lakers giving Michigan the series on Saturday night.
Forward Timo Bakos put up the only goal for LSSU during a power play in the second period.
The Lakers’ goalie Seth Eisele lead the game in saves (33), but it wasn’t enough against a strong Wolverine offense.
LSSU’s next matchup is against Clarkson Friday, Oct. 28.
