MOUNT PLEASANT – The Mt. Pleasant Oilers capped off an 8-1 regular season with a solid 28-21 victory over visiting Linden on Friday night.
The Oilers held a 21-14 halftime lead, which they extended to 28-14 in the third quarter.
Mt. Pleasant also learned on Friday night that they would share the Saginaw Valley League North Division crown with Midland, after the Chemics defeated rival Midland Dow.
The Oilers will now wait to for Sunday night to see who they’ll face in the first round of the playoffs.
