TRAVERSE CITY – The Cadillac Vikings volleyball team fought off a spirited rally to earn a 3-2 Big North Conference victory over Traverse City Central on Wednesday night.
The Vikings won the first set, 25-21, then had to hold on to win the second set, 26-24.
The Trojans carried momentum from their narrow loss in set two to take control of set three and win 25-14. Central then won the fourth set 25-22 to force a decisive fifth.
Cadillac built a small lead in the fifth set and held on to take it 15-13 to earn the match victory.
