BRIMLEY — Brimley will have a new head coach in football after coming off its second straight two-win season last year.
The Bays will be coached by Bob Cameron, who has familiarity with the players as his son is on the roster as well. Brimley will be a young squad with the majority of the team featuring juniors and sophomores.
“We are workhorses. I have a weight room in my basement. I have the team come over and we work out a little bit and I’m really big into it,” Brimley junior Perry LeBlanc said. “We do everything together as a group.”
Even though they have a new head coach, Cameron expects the players to recognize the majority of the plays and schemes.
“We pretty much game plan how we did it last year on JV. So we’re still trying to run the same kind of kind of system that we’ve been doing,” Cameron said.
Brimley will start its season against Newberry at home.
