Ludington Takes Year Two of The Carferry Cup

LUDINGTON —  Ludington hosted year two of the Carferry Cup, a matchup between teams divided by Lake Michigan.

The Manitowoc high school boys soccer team from took the ferry from Wisconsin to compete against Ludington and Cedar Springs.

The Cup included three soccer games, with Ludington and Cedar Springs in the first matchup. The teams went scoreless and ended game one with an official 0-0 score.

Manitowoc and Cedar Springs competed in game two. The Red Hawks’ scored two goals to take the first win of the day.

In a dual for the cup, Ludington took an early lead and kept the pace going to take the win over Manitowoc, 8-0.
