EMPIRE — The Michigan football team continued its summer trip throughout the state of Michigan with a few stops in northern Michigan on Monday, including the Sleeping Bear Dunes.
The team also kayaked in Glen Arbor and toured Traverse City on Monday. This comes after they made a trip to the .
“I grew up not really knowing too much about the state of Michigan and being able to come out here and see all the sites out in the state of Michigan and everything the state has to offer, it’s been a great experience,” Michigan linebacker Kalel Mullings said.
The team will have a few more stops throughout the state as part of their summer tour.
“All my life, I didn’t know that there were areas that look like this in Michigan,” Michigan defensive lineman Kris Jenkins said. “So coming up here is really like a change of perspective for a lot of us. So it’s really cool.”
