LSSU’s Season Ends in Game Three of CCHA Quarterfinals Against NMU

SAULT STE. MARIE – Lake Superior State’s playoff run came to an end in game three of the CCHA Quarterfinals following a 5-4 loss to Northern Michigan on Sunday night.

The Lakers jumped out to a quick 3-1 lead early in the second period, but the Wildcats scored four unanswered goals to lead 5-3 heading into the final period of play.

LSSU finishes the year 18-18-1 overall and 13-15 in conference play.
