HOLLAND — Lake City alum Olivia Bellows wrapped up her freshman season with the Hope women’s basketball team, helping the Flying Dutch win their third national title in program history.
Bellows averaged 2.9 points per game in 27 games her freshman season. She knew she was joining a great program when she signed with Hope women’s hoops, but to secure a national title was a special feeling.
“Just being a part of it and like being with these teammates who’ve been fighting for this national championship for a couple of years now, I’m just so grateful to be a part of it and tag along for the ride and just get better as the season goes on. It really is a good feeling,” Bellows said.
