KINROSS — Big Bay de Noc defeated Maplewood Baptist in girls basketball, 47-46, while Hannahville beat Ojibwe Charter in boys basketball, 79-47, to secure Northern Lights League titles on Wednesday.
Maplewood Baptist held a 24-22 lead at halftime, but Big Bay de Noc outscored them by four in the third to take a 32-30 lead into the final quarter.
Hannahville jumped out to a fast start in the boys championship game, leading 23-6 after one quarter.
