Mackinaw City Stays Undefeated in Win Over Cedarville-DeTour

MACKINAW CITY — Mackinaw City cruised in the second half to pick up another victory over Cedarville-DeTour on Monday in girls basketball, 73-46.

The Comets held a 37-30 lead at halftime and built that to a 58-41 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Marlie Postula led the Comets with 18 points, while Gabi Bell contributed 14, including four 3-pointers. Taylor Williams also had four three pointers as she scored 18 points. Lily Plowman had 17 points for the Islanders.

Mackinaw City improves to 10-0 overall. They have won nine of their ten games by double digits. They will next be at Wolverine on Tuesday for a conference matchup.

Cedarville-DeTour falls to 5-3 overall. The Islanders will look to bounce back at home on Friday against Engadine.
