NEWBERRY – Cedarville-Detour cruised past Newberry 42-19 in an Eastern U.P. Athletics Conference showdown on Wednesday night.
The Islanders pick up their third win of the season and improve to 3-1 overall.
Cedarville-Detour will take on Eastern U.P. opponent Brimley (2-2) next on Friday, Dec. 17 at 5:45 p.m. at home.
With the loss, Newberry falls to 0-4. The Indians will look to capture their first win of the year against Rudyard (2-0) in a Straits Area Conference contest on Friday at 7 p.m.
