Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy announced on Monday that Boise State has pulled out of The Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl due to COVID-19 issues. The Broncos were set to play Central Michigan on Friday at 2 p.m. (EST) in Tucson, Ariz.
Portnoy tweeted that they are actively looking for a replacement. Washington State is reportedly a potential option for CMU to play in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas. Their opponent, Miami (FL), dropped out of that bowl due to COVID-19 issues.
Breaking: has pulled out of due to too many players contracting covid. We are actively looking for a replacement. I suggest does a poll of players whether they want to play in Az bowl or Sun Bowl.
